According to data by CFA，In February, the turnover of China's futures market was about 303 million and 23.31 trillion yuan, up 53.06% and 64.39% respectively year on year, and up 14.95% and 14.68% respectively month on month.
From January to February, the accumulative trading volume of the national futures market was about 566 million, and the accumulative trading volume was about 43.63 trillion yuan, up 20.29 percent and 29.99 percent, respectively, year-on-year.
Specifically, about 96 million transactions were traded on the Shanghai futures exchange in February, with turnover of 5.70 trillion yuan, up 25.66 percent and 18.57 percent year on year, respectively, and up 4.87 percent and down 14.17 percent month on month.Trading volume at the Shanghai international energy exchange in February was about 1.14 million transactions, or 0.37 trillion yuan, down 46.00% and 60.73% year-on-year, and 36.50% and 51.20% month-on-month, respectively.
The zhengzhou Commodity Exchange saw about 73 million transactions in February, with turnover of about 2.86 trillion yuan, up 31.02 percent and 46.19 percent year-on-year, respectively, and up 18.84 percent and 26.66 percent month-on-month.
The dalian Commodity Exchange saw about 124 million transactions in February, with turnover of about 5.66 trillion yuan, up 105.50 percent and 74.41 percent year-on-year, respectively, and up 19.77 percent and 13.20 percent month-on-month.
The volume of transactions in February of China financial exchange was about 8.87 million and 8.72 trillion yuan, up 164.98 percent and 169.76 percent year on year, respectively, and up 69.18 percent and 53.72 percent month on month.
It is worth noting that at the end of February, total holdings in the national futures market rose 18.68% from the previous month.By the end of February, Shanghai futures exchange holdings totaled 6.52 million lots, up 28.45 percent from the end of last month.Holdings at the Shanghai energy exchange totaled 100,000 lots, up 72.01 per cent from the end of last month. Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange holdings totaled 5.31 million lots, up 24.56 percent from the end of last month. Dalian Commodity Exchange holdings totaled 9.24 million lots, up 10.45 percent from the end of last month. China's financial exchanges held a total of 600,000 positions, up 3.45 per cent from the end of last month.
