毛志荣先生现任香港交易及结算所有限公司（香港交易所）董事总经理、内地业务发展主管及管理委员会委员, 并任中华证券交易服务有限公司总裁兼董事及债券通有限公司董事。 

毛先生致力推动内地与香港两地市场互联互通的发展, 从股票延伸至债券, 带领团队分别于2014年、2016年及2017年完成「沪港通」、「深港通」及「债券通」等项目。

在加入香港交易所之前, 毛先生曾于深圳证券交易所工作多年，历任策划国际部总监、金融创新实验室主任和衍生品工作组组长等职。毛先生亦曾在一间美国500强的金融保险公司工作多年，从事资讯技术、产品开发以及风险管理等领域的专业和管理工作。

毛先生毕业于中国复旦大学, 取得文学士学位 (经济学)，并获得美国加州大学圣迭戈分校国际事务博士学位和经济学硕士学位。

Mr. Mao Zhirong is Managing Director, Head of Mainland Development and a member of Management Committee of HKEX. He is also Chief Executive and Director of China Exchanges Services Company Limited, Director of Bond Connect Company Limited.

Mr. Mao is devoted to promoting the development of mutual market programs between Mainland and Hong Kong. He led the team in rolling out connectivity programs such as SH-HK Stock Connect(2014), SZ-HK Stock Connect(2016) and Bond Connect(2017) etc.

Prior to joining HKEX, Mr. Mao served as Director of Strategy and International Affairs, Director of Financial Innovation Lab and Head of Derivative Product Task Force at Shenzhen Stock Exchange. Mr. Mao also worked at a top 500 U.S. insurance company for years where he held a variety of positions across functions including information technology, product development and risk management.

Mr. Mao holds Doctor of Philosophy (International Affairs) and Master of Arts (Economics) from University of California, San Diego, US and Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from Fudan University, China.
