DanielBellizzi is the Asia Regional Manager for COFCO International, based inSingapore. With about 20 years experience in the sugar market, started as atrader in 1997 in SIMAB, a local Brazilian trading company. After havingexperienced different areas of the business, such as logistics, trade finance,futures and physical trading, joined Noble Group in Brazil in 2007 to beresponsible for the company’s sugar procurement in the country. In 2009, Danielmoved to Singapore to expand Noble Group’s sugar business in the Far East andhas been living in Asia to date. With the acquisition of Noble’s agriculturalbusiness by COFCO and the formation of COFCO International, Daniel has becomethe manager in charge of sugar activities for the company in the Far East.
