Recently, Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) and National Meteorological Center of CMA ，jointly launched the 2022 World Meteorological Day campaign, with the theme of "Early warning, early action", reminding the public to pay attention to climate change, be prepared and take action in advance to reduce the impact on production and life.

According to experts, will represent the temperature, precipitation, snow, hurricane and other weather phenomena strong or weak weather index and derivatives trading mechanism combined, the development of weather derivatives based on the weather index, to market means to transfer the weather risk, can play in the whole social scope to weaken or offset the role of weather risk.

Market participants said Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) and National Meteorological Center of CMA ， through the scientific and reasonable design of all kinds of weather index, widen the application range meteorological information, can know the weather related industries the convenient channel of the risk, improve agricultural weather risk management consciousness, and for the next step to explore research and development the corresponding futures derivatives to lay a solid foundation.
