On April 3, DCE issued a notice to clarify and define matters related to the application of the 2022 "DCE Agricultural Insurance Program" project.

According to the reporter, the projects of the "DCE Agricultural Insurance Program" in 2022 include decentralized breeding project, soybean revitalization project, pig special project, Dalian special project, Xinjiang special project and Xizang special project. The project model includes "insurance + futures" income insurance, "insurance + futures" price insurance and over-the-counter option. The project shall be subject to the futures prices of live pigs, soybeans, corn, soybean meal and egg of DCE or the relevant indexes issued by DCE. Risk management shall be carried out through Dalian futures market, and risk hedging shall be encouraged by the exchange options listed by DCE. A single project must be carried out in a prefecture-level city (or municipality). The project shall not be reimbursed by agreement.
